The Nation’s highest court, the Supreme Court of Liberia, has given its verdict in the Snowe 30-count writ of prohibition case filed against colleagues for illegally attempting to impeach him from the prestigious post of Speaker of the House of Representatives. The ill-advised lawmakers finally resorted to using the Unity Conference Center in the township of Virginia, Monrovia, instead of even appearing before the gavel of Speaker Snowe, at the Presidential endorsed Centennial Pavilion. |

What appears to be a history-making ceremony was held yesterday at the Unity Conference Center in the Township of Virginia, outside Monrovia, when the Liberian leader, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, delivered her state of The Nation Address to a breakaway faction of the National Legislature, despite the Supreme Court’s ruling.
