The president of the William VS Tubman Technical College in Harper, Maryland County, Dr. Elizabeth Davis-Russell has disclosed that aboutUS$2 million is needed to revamp the College.
Addressing journalists at the end of an educational forum at a local hotel in Monrovia, Dr. Russell noted that the amount will include completing the ongoing renovation works on the campus, recruit instructors and furnish the buildings.

Bangladeshi peacekeepers continue to devise innovative initiatives for local communities to increase food production and sustain food security, a crucial component for lasting peace in Liberia. The latest initiative, a multi-purpose community-based agricultural project, under the name “Bangla-Bong Ideal Village,” has been inaugurated by UNMIL’s Force Commander Lieutenant-General Abu Tayeb Muhammad Zahirul Alam at Maimu Town, near Totota, in Salala District of Liberia’s central province of Bong.
