The National Social Security & Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) says its attention has been drawn to a back-page story in the Friday, September 25, 2009, Edition of The New Democrat Newspaper captioned: “NO MONEY – Social Security Beneficiaries Sent to God”, in which the paper alleged that NASSCORP officials told a group of retirees that their “social security” had been depleted, and they must go to God Almighty. |
