Pastor Behind Bars For Rape
Published on July 24, 2008Email To Friend    Print Version

The founder and overseer of the Eternal Life Outreach Ministries in Barnesville, the Reverend Jeff Success, has been sent to jail at the Monrovia Central Prison on charges of rape.
Rev. Jeff Success is reported to have raped a 13-year-old girl in the Barnesville community in June.
Barnesville Police on June 10 arrested Pastor Success, charged and turned him over to the Women and Children Protection Section of the Paynesville Jacob’s Town depot of the Liberian National Police.
The victim’s family told this paper that the Man of God fled from arrest when he initially carried out the act when news burst out about his doing, but was later apprehended by the Police.
Pastor success is awaiting trial scheduled for next month at the Gardnerville Magisterial court.
Parents said their daughter is currently at a local hospital, still in critical condition, seeking medication. They feared that their daughter may never give birth, because she has spent more than a month under medication with no improvements.
