LNP Chief of Traffic Ends Road Training In UK

The Chief of Traffic of the Republic of Liberia, Assistant Commissioner Miekee Gray has completed two-week Road Policing training in the United Kingdom.
According to an LNP Release, Mr. Gray who was among 42 heads of Road Policing in the UK undertook a Professional Development Program at the Road Policing Unit of Devon & Cornwall Constabulary.
The Road Policing Training was organized by the Road Policing Unit of Devon & Cornwall Constabulary in the UK. The program which ran from September 14-25, 2009 highlighted issues of traffic management, road safety and regulations of road policing.
Meanwhile, two senior officers including the Chief of Protocol at the Liberia National Police, Francis Akiti and the Chief of Central Operations, Deputy Commissioner Patrick Sudue also participated in a weeklong consultative workshop on the ECOWAS Standby Force Police Component in Abuja, Nigeria.
The trips were the result of LNP’s efforts to ensure that police officers get international trainings.
