The NEC Boss said  information gathered  from all 968 polling  places indicates that the   polling  was  to a large extend held without any  incident, counting proceeded according to schedule following the  closure .  Cllr. Fromoyan said the certified results will subsequently be announced by the NEC in keeping with its key electoral dates.

The National  Election Commission  lauds all registered  voters of the county for  honoring their  civic responsibility and turnout to cast  their votes in the  Tuesday  by election run-off to fill  the vacant senatorial seat as a result of  the demise of  CDC  junior senator  Hannah Brent.
