Police Officer Indicted For Stealing

Dennis W. Keleko, an officer of the Liberia National Police has been indicted for stealing a mini purse containing many valuables.
According to Madam Deddeh P. Kollie, on Saturday, February2, 2010 at about 2: 45 Pm, while traveling from Caldwell with a friend, officer John S. Smith of the LNP, she stopped and gave lift to officer Dennis Keleko near the Zone-seven sub police station in Caldwell from the Stockton creek Bridge.
Madam Kollie explained that at the back seat of the vehicle, she had her personal belongings including her beige-color mini purse that contained the missing items behind the driver's seat.
She furthered that when defendant Keleko reached his destination (Jamaica Road) he disembark but after few minutes, she decided to check for her purse and other items but realized that the purse was missing.
Meanwhile, defendant Dennis Kekeko has admitted to police investigation of stealing the mini purse that contained one mini gold locket with initial “A”, Four gold rings, one gold bracelet, one LBDI Bank Book, Seven Passport size photos, a child bracelet, one earring and a cash of US$100.
The police have since forwarded the case for court trial.
