The Margibi University Students Association (MARUSA) has commended President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for the appointment of Mr. J. Ebenezer Kolliegbo as Deputy Minister for Administration at the Ministry of Transport. The student group in a statement said the President's appointment of a son of Margibi County to her cabinet indicates that her government strives to include everyone, despite their origin. “This is a clear indication that Madam Ellen Johnson Sirleaf regime is a strong government of inclusion in the true sense because people irrespective of their background are in her cabinet,” MURUSA said in a statement issued in Monrovia Tuesday. They also applauded the President for the manner in which she is steering the affairs of Liberia thus far, and encouraged her to do more especially in the area of employment opportunity for all Liberians. “We hope that the appointment of Mr. Kolliegbo will be a challenge to him that will bring positive transformation to the transport sector of Liberia,” the student group noted. Mr. Kolliegbo was among several officials appointed by the President two weeks ago to various positions in government.
