Egypt Hosts "Africa Day 2011"

The Egyptian Ambassador to Liberia, Maher El-Adawy, said that Egypt is more than ever before determined in enhancing its relations with other nations.
Ambassador Adawy spoke at an event marking the celebration of "Africa Day 2011" which he hosted at the Egyptian Residence, Mega Compound, Mamba Point in Monrovia on Wednesday 8 June 2011.
He noted that following the 25 January 2011 Revolution in his homeland, Egypt has become more resolute in strengthening its rooted relations with its brotherly and sisterly African countries.
Among the distinguished guests who graced the occasion are both the Dean of the Cabinet, H.E Dr. Toga G. McIntosh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Honorable Cllr. Christiana P. Tah, Minister of Justice, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, H.E. Mr. Abdoulaye Dore, African Ambassadors and Diplomats, African heads of United Nations Agencies and international organizations as well as African Members of the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).
The occasion was attended by 102 people and was thrilled with variety of wonderful cultural performances from all the counties of Liberia, singing, dancing, acrobatic displays by the Liberian Cultural Troupe, as well as variety of music from African countries.
