The Senior Pastor of the Guilding Star Temple of the Bridgeway Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Borough of New Kru Town, Bushrod Island, Rev. Aloysius N. Nimely, has admonished Liberians to desist from activities that will undermine the electoral process of Liberia. He said that during the 2011 general and presidential elections, Liberians should conduct themselves maturely in order to avoid unnecessary confrontations during the electoral period. Rev. Nimely made the statement recently when he delivered a sermon during the church's regular worship service in New Kru Town. He urged Liberians to refrain from electing people in the National Legislature based on party, tribal, sectional and religious affiliations. He said Liberians should elect people who have vision for development of the country that will make the citizens to get involved in the distribution of the national resources of the country in order to improve their lives. Rev. Nimely then cautioned members of the Guiding Star Church not to vote for people because of rice, money and other material things, but those who will seek the interest of the country and its citizens.
