THE ACTIVITIES OF armed gangs in the country in recent time have risen to a high level and taken very dangerous trend that poses treat to the survival of the victims.

The Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, has challenged the world to eliminate deaths from malaria as quickly as possible. Mr. Ban made the statement on 25 April 2008, during celebrations of the World Malaria Day.

 

A Liberian, whose construction firm was hired by the Management of Firestone Liberia to form part of its current reconstruction program, says he sees a brighter future for the employees of the company as evident by the accelerated pace at which the construction of modern housing units and the improvements in other social services are being carried out by the Management of this corporate entity.

The Government of Liberia through its Joint Security System has launched with immediate effect a security network, codenamed, “Operation Thunderstorm” to flush out armed robbers from the various communities.
